First of all yes the Sandy Hook School Shooting was a tragedy and we all should have nothing but sympathy and and understanding for the children and parents. However it raised the specter of gun control once again,. which I am against. So I will make some points that from my perspective show how disingenuous gun control advocates are.

First: Gun control advocates IMMEDIATELY the day of and the day after the shooting used the shooting to sell their political viewpoint and then lashed out at pro gun persons who talked about the shootings a week or more after the incident as being insensitive for bringing politics into the incident so soon after the tragedy. What? Also fuck Bob Costas, he knows nothing about sports and it shows because his Monday Night Football commentaries are never about football, WHY IS HE THERE!?

Second: Gun control advocates immediately attacked the writer of this article for pointing out that mental illness is ignored and we know for fact that Adam Lanza was mentally ill and was upset because his mother was trying to have him committed. Every single life at Sandy Hook Elementary could have been saved had Adam Lanza been committed and received the help he needed.

Third: Gun control advocates say as Bob Costas (giant dickhole) said we can be 100% percent certain that if guns were banned that no one would have been killed. Really? Guns are banned in Chicago and they had five hundred murders in 2012. Huh.

Fourth: Gun Control advocates say we have an epidemic of gun murders. Well that is demonstrably a lie. Alternet (you remember the people that were upset about homeless pets during the mortgage crisis rather than people..........) posted an article that boldly claims 18 deaths a day since sandy hook compiled by that well known clearing house of absolutely true information Twitter. If that is true let's look at it. In the United States there are approximately 45 murders a day in the US. Now because Twitter does not tell us how many of the 18 gun deaths a day are murder (how many are people shot by police, how many are suicides, how many are gun owners killing home invaders, rapists etc.........) we simply don't know how many are murder. Even if we assume that they are all murder that means only about 33% of all murders in the US involve guns. Why aren't we talking about what is being used to commit the other 66% of murders?

Fifth: Gun control advocates say it is about protecting the children. That is demonstrably a lie. More children die of lack of medical care, malnutrition and even starvation than are killed by guns each year in the US, hundreds are killed by guns, HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS LIVE BELOW THE POVERTY LINE. If it were really about protecting the children how about we feed them or give them health care? What politicians and the media mean when they say it's 'all about protecting the children' what they mean is 'It's all about protecting affluent white children in the suburbs'.

Finally: Countries where guns are banned are much safer than the US, not true the United Kingdom has DOUBLE the violent crime rate of the US, true gun murders are much, much lower but they aren't zero.

If you are anti-gun are you uninformed and probably intentionally so, just as it's a bad idea to get only your news from FOX if you are conservative, it's also a bad idea to just get the news from liberal sources if you are a liberal. Look at the facts not the isolated tragedies. If you start by lying to yourself you'll never be able to tell anyone the truth.

Now I'm sure that unless you've been playing Skyrim ( I have) that you've seen that US Embassies are under attack for a very bad movie ( bad enough that I bet Rifftrax can't even make fun of it) that implies (i.e. depicts in detail) the Prophet Mohammed being a pederast, drunk, homosexual cannibal. Whatever, anybody that thinks that is the real reason the Ambassador in Libya was killed (i.e. Obama, Romney, the entire United States) is a retarded dickhole.

Those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Boy is that spot on. Just a quick lesson regarding United States policy in regards to Muslim Salafi and Wahabi Fundamentalists:

Act 1: Give Israel money, weapons and support to crush secular nationalist Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian and Arab governments. Push moderate Muslims to the margins and give fundamentalists the worlds best recruiting tool and no option but to fight using asymmetrical warfare. Ignore that Israel was founded by terrorists that killed civilians, negotiators , soldiers and politicians of our friend in Britian.

Act 2: Support any non-democratic Arab dictator that will 'friend' Israel and their campaigns of violence against moderate democratic forces, again giving fundies more recruiting propaganda, use CIA to overthrow the SECULAR democratic Iranian government and replace it with the hated Shah, leave the door open for Ayatollah Khomeini.

Act 3 : Give the Taliban and Al Quaeda money, weapons and logistical support to drive Soviet forces out of Afghanistan, conveniently ignore that they hate all westerners (USA included, but thanks for the missiles!) and are terrorists that like to explode things, like buildings. Make doubly sure you ignore Acts 1 and 2, believe that Al Qaeda and the Taliban are 'friends' after all anyone that hates the Soviets can't be bad, right?

Act 4: Soviet Union falls (hooray) make it a priority to keep stability in the Middle East (i.e. help Israel at all costs, keep oil prices low, give US Presidents ample opportunity for man-contact with King of Saudi Arabia) by backing non-democratic Arab and North African regimes in their fight against (again) democracy, further solidifying the Islamic extremists as the only viable option to a brutal dictator (i.e. Ben Ali, Sadat, Mubarak,Hussein etc.).

Act 5: Get attacked by Al Qaeda ( remember them?) declare Al Qaeda an enemy take absolutely zero time to reflect on why Al Qaeda attacked or how exactly their network became so pervasive (CIA) or where their money comes from (our good friend Saudi Arabia) don't remark on how odd it is that Presidents Bush, Clinton, Bush alternately hold hands with, bow to the man paying for Al Qaeda and the spreading of Wahabi extremist teachings in friendly places like Yemen, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Jordan.............. Attack cold war ally Hussein, give Al Qaeda a base in Iraq because NINE ELEVEN NEVER FORGET YOU SCUMBAG!

Act 6: Suddenly decide democracy IS important (well, who would have thought?) Totally ignore that Islamist political parties are the only ones that survived intact after decades of paying Arab and North African dictators to kill secular activists and leaders. In cases like Libya (and now Syria) give weapons to our old friend Al Qaeda ( wait, what?) to overthrow the dictator that we had just recently 'friended' for allowing the CIA to torture 'terrorists' in his country.

Act 7: Sit back and wonder why people are upset over a stupid movie (if you don't know the answer to this, you've obviously never seen any movie with Shia LaBeefs) and ignore that fundamental Islamists (you mean Al Qaeda, don't you?) are probably using it as an excuse to attack the US. Don't ask why the film was mysteriously made by a dual Israeli-American citizen with mystery funds that may or may nnot exist (Mossad) and ignore that this all happens when the US refuses to meet with Israel to attack Iran.

Finally: Send in the Navy and Marines to kill people who are by now just idiots riled up by the Wahabi's and Salafists ignore the fact that killing people in a foreign country is exactly why people in that foreign country don't like you and will use any retarded excuse to attack you. Make sure to vocally blame everyone but yourself because AMERICA NUMBER ONE THESE COLORS DON'T RUN!!!

I've been watching football for some time now. I've always been a Redskins fan, you may noticed from previous bloggings. Yet lately I get asked 'Are you a Tim Tebow fan?'. I always have the same answer: 'I am a Washington Redskins fan, the Denver Broncos aren't even in my division, I am indifferent to them unless they are for some reason playing the Redskins.'

The inevitable follow up comment is; 'Oh, you hate Tim Tebow just like everyone else.'

I don't know what any of this means? Why should I be a fan of players that do nothing for my team? Why do I have to hate Tim Tebow if I'm indifferent to his team? I have never been asked if I am a Ben Roethlisberger fan or a Tom Brady Fan, or even if I'm a Rex Grossman fan? Rex Grossman IS the quarterback for my Redskins, why do people not ask me about him?



Why would anyone ask me about Tebow? I live next to Chicago where the standard is Bears fans or Colt fans and yet even people in and around Chicago who should assume that I am a Bears or Colts fan still ask me 'Are you a Tim Tebow fan?'. Why does it matter? So for anyone asking, suck on this:

I don't know, but don't ask the NFL and it's employees because they don't know either. Now, first off the NFL is a trust. That is it is a group of businesses that act in concert to control their industry to set prices, wages and collectively bargain for various deals in the case of the NFL that mainly means television rights. The only reason the NFL can operate it's monopoly/trust is because of the agreement with the players union and the guv'mints turning a blind eye to the trust as it also does with Baseball and Basketball.



Of course that is gone since the collective agreement expired and is the basis for the Tom Brady lawsuit (brought solely by that douchebag Tom Brady because the Patriots are asses!*) that the NFL cannot collectively shut it's doors as doing so would be acting as a trust, yadda,yadda, yadda, monopoly, yadda,yadda, union desertification. All of this is as maybe. I'm a huge Redskins fan and a big football fan but if the season doesn't start on time? Fuck the NFL that's what. When baseball went on strike? I never watched it again. When Hockey went on strike? I never watched it again. Now it is the NFL's turn and I'll tell you why I will never watch it again.



How do you share 8 BILLION dollars? How about fifty-fifty? That's what the Players Union** proposed , which is magnanimous considering the old deal that the owners hated gave the players fifty two percent of NFL revenues. Why did that offer fail? Well the owners responded "Okay 50-50 it is EXCEPT that any revenues over projected revenues goes directly into our pockets." which as you can see, isn't exactly fifty-fifty. If revenues are under projections do the owners have to pay the players? It 's a dumb suggestion. Now I know what you are going to say "If the players don't like it, they can go work for someone else." except they really can't. The NFL is a trust and if you don't like your team/boss you can't sign anywhere else. Even if you go to Canada or the UFL you end up paying the NFL and that isn't going to change because the NFL is a litigious motherfucker with more money than Canada much less the CFL. So, if you are an NFL player and the NFL won't let you play, or your team won't let you play then you're fucked. It's time to fall back on that 'Communications' Degree. So, fuck the NFL.



Now before you say "You player loving, union hugging, commie subversive, pinko, Obama shorts liberal!" let me just say fuck the players too. In a calculated ploy they legally de-certified the union which let that ass Tom Brady* file his lawsuit. This move is probably as illegal as the NFL trust and simply makes the players look like cry baby millionaires. Which they totally are. The players main complaints? Rookies are being paid too much: they were being paid inline with your unions agreement, how come you complain now? Retired Players have no safety net: Really? Someone making on average three million dollars for a couple of years work needs a safety net for retirement? Go fuck yourself. Maybe the old-timey players that worked summers as roofers or in a car wash deserved a nice retirement cut but none of you current fuckos do. Save you money and invest. Either that, or take up bull-riding.



Or boxing.



Billionaires vs. Millionaires, I'm not siding with either one I don't make anywhere near either of them and to be honest if I had NFL talent I'd sign for three years and then laugh all the way to retirement riding a wave of dividend stocks , hedge funds and tax free trusts. So sack up and get a deal done before the season is impacted.


* Actually it is the Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees and five other schmoes anti-trust suit. Tom Brady is listed first because of the alphabet and because everyone in the football media hates him. I personally rank him as #3 quarterback ever, behind #2 Terry Bradshaw and #1 Joe 'Cool', if Brady wins another ring..............we'll see.
